Two of the most trusted brands in the Australian Automotive industry - Monroe and King Springs - have worked together to design and produce a new generation lowered suspension shock absorber.

For many years it has been accepted by the market that lowering your vehicle with heavy duty replacement springs meant sacrificing ride comfort. For our part this has been at the forefront of ourMonroe Gt Sports and King Springs progressive rate spring technology drive  to design springs to minimise that sacrifice. We believe our spring designs achieve this to the best of our ability however we've always known there was room for further improvement in the area of shock absorbers and bump stops. During the testing procedure apart from achieving the obvious spring and shock absorber compatibility attention to detail was also considered in the area of bump stop impact, hence the redesign of the bump stops. It again has been a long term desire of ours to gain improvement over OE in the area of bump stop design which has been achieved significantly.

King Springs are extremely excited to firstly be involved in the evolution of the GT SPORT program and most importantly to see it all come to fruition. We  have waited many years to have a range of shortened body shock absorbers tuned to compatibility to our lowered springs. In the evolution of our product by utilizing progressive spring technology combined with bar tapering we have made it possible to design the ultimate in spring design.

By tuning this range of GT SPORT shock absorbers to suit our springs we are ushering in a new generation of advanced aftermarket suspension products that previously has never been available.
